Description

The Griffioen is a classic restored passenger boat, built in 1909. After its launch in Hamburg, it sailed as a passenger boat on various rivers and lakes in Switzerland. In 1964, it was heavily damaged in a collision, and after repairs, it returned to service with a “modern structure.”

In 2002, we decided to remove the “modern structure” and restore it to its authentic, classic appearance. We equipped it with a silent electric motor, a fully stocked bar, a comfortable toilet, a beautiful skylight, and retractable windows. The Griffioen offers the ideal setting for an intimate dinner, a cozy drink, or a unique marriage proposal.
